I care about open source because I believe knowledge and tools should be shared openly with everyone to accelerate discovery, innovation, and equity. Contributing to open source—and advocating for open science and open code—is my way of helping build a collaborative and transparent future where progress is accessible to everyone. We should be doing more of it, not less.
